One rocket. One kill. No exceptions.
No loadouts. No armor. No health bars. The only edge is movement and aim.
BlitzFrag is built around a single idea: if every player has the same weapon and one shot kills, the only variable is you. Your movement. Your positioning. Your reaction speed.
Master Quake-style movement — air strafing, bunnyhopping, rocket jumping — and you become something your opponents struggle to track. Play passively and you're already dead.
There is no grind. There is no unlock. There is only the arena, the rocket, and whoever is faster.
Every player. Every match. Same gun. One hit kills. The skill gap lives entirely in movement and timing — not in what you've unlocked.
Air strafing, bunnyhopping, and rocket jumping built in from day one. The ceiling is high. The floor is accessible. Getting good feels like learning to fly.
Step through and appear somewhere else. Your rocket travels through too. Learn the portal angles and you control the map in ways your opponent cannot predict.
Speed boosts. Jump boosts. Burst rockets. Three-way splits. Scattered around the arena, contested every respawn. Knowing when to go for them is half the game.
Maps are more than walls. Pads launch you into the air. Lava punishes greed. Water slows you down. Map makers can use all of it.
First to the kill limit wins. Teams or free-for-all. Simple rules. Intense matches. More modes coming as the community grows.
BlitzFrag ships with a TrenchBroom game definition — the same free tool Quake map makers have used for decades. Build a map, upload it to Workshop, and players download it automatically when they connect to a server running it.
Community servers are first-class citizens. Download the dedicated server binary, drop in a config file, and you're live. No fees, no accounts, no permission required. Point it at your own master server for full independence.
The game is open source. Fork it. Mod it. Run it without Steam. The code belongs to the community — not a corporation.
BlitzFrag is free. There is nothing to buy. There will never be anything to buy. No cosmetics. No battle pass. No live service. No content calendar.
No purchase. No subscription. No cosmetics. Nothing to buy, ever. Add it to your wishlist and you'll be the first to know when the doors open.
